MYK are a small team of off road riders from Russia who became disillusioned with the low level of functionality of other LED lights on the market for enduro and adventure bikes. Existing brands were often overpriced, and lacked key functionality, such as being able to use the low beam LEDs, for riding on lowbeam. Further, other manufacturers had not kept up with recent developments like TIR optics, which dramatically improve the performance of LED lights . As electronics engineers, we knew we could do a better job than anything else on the market, and so in 2016, in our spare time, we started making MYK lights.
The popularity of the lights soon spread amongst enduro riders in Russia. By 2018 we started shipping to clients offshore and became popular with Israeli riders, after one of their Beta riders discovered our products via forums.
We are still a small, niche operation. We are not looking to become the biggest player in the market. We still finish all the products by hand, soldering the correct wiring plugs onto the light to meet the customers request. We just want to make the best, and most functional lights for our kind of people ... other bike riders.
We do all our own inhouse CNC machining and 3D mask printing. We do our own scanning of new lights that we dont yet have on file.
We still take orders by email, and payment by paypal. When you email us, we will try to find out what kind of headlight is in your bike, to check we have the mask on file, and that we know what wiring plug to use. If we dont have it on file, we have to try and source a light, 3D scan it, and make a note of what electrical connector that light uses.
